Big Splash

This was a very short demo I was asked to do while at Jerry's Artarama last Saturday. I had already done one demo,(which I will post very soon, of birds) and somebody in the audience asked me to do a seascape, so this became a very inpromptu demo.
I had no reference but as I have done so many waterscapes, this was no problem. The demo was a pastel on tan Sennelier Paper and probably took about 25 minutes all up.

Love in the Afternoon...SOLD!

This is an acrylic I did for a 2 hour demo in Sun City Texas a few weeks ago.
I began with no preconceived notion of what it would be other than a flower of some sort.
The flowers were superimposed over an abstract underpainting which is for the most part, how I start a lot of florals and landscapes now.

This painting is SOLD!
