Laguna Gloria

This was done last week at Laguna Gloria. A small group of Austin Plein Air artists met there to watch Laurel Daniels do a demo, it was great, thanks Laurel!
Afterwards, I stayed back with a couple of people & we painted the area. I hate doing a lot of greens, & this painting really challenged me on that score.
The day was overcast for the most part, not a lot of sunlight, so when it came out, I grabbed the opportunity to place some lights in the painting.

I always end up using complimentary colors to 'zap' my greens, I could not resist a little orange here & there.
