This is another of the Sleepy Harbor series, the water is what I was attracted to in the first place, I do embellish a little as the painting takes over. The boats are actually boats out of a marina in Victoria in Australia.Texas artist Rae Andrews, paintings in all media and genre. She is an Australian ex-pat who moved to Maui in the early 1990's where she owned two art galleries .. she now resides in Texas where she conducts workshops both in the USA, Australia and Europe.

Sleepy Harbor III

Nice work with these "Sleepy Harbour" paintings. They remind me of a photo I shot of a duck at Berowra Waters a few years ago (http://www.flickr.com/photos/sqlnerd/264795376/in/set-72157594221114036/). Not great composition, as it was early days, but probably right up your alley with the colourful reflections on the water.
