These Mexican workers were picking grapes when I spied them, & took their photos. they were not thrilled with a photographer taking shots, & I made sure that the back of them was taken rather than the front views, that seemed to appease their unease. I have painted these guys in different poses before, in acrylic, but this one is in pastel on board.Texas artist Rae Andrews, paintings in all media and genre. She is an Australian ex-pat who moved to Maui in the early 1990's where she owned two art galleries .. she now resides in Texas where she conducts workshops both in the USA, Australia and Europe.

HARVEST TIME, SPICEWOOD VINEYARDS
