Driftwood. SOLD!

After a recent trip to Australia, I saw this old drawing I had done in college. My sister comandeered it many years ago. I did a series of these driftwood studies in charcoal and pastel, and used the bark of the melaluca tree (paper bark) collaged onto the Stonehenge paper for effect.
I think I did about 8 of these drawings, all of which sold while I was still in college, but it was very interesting to see this one again.Maybe even in a new light, so many years have passed.

Now that's one I instantly recognised. How many times have I seen that one hanging on the wall after all these years? ;-)

tee hee, yep, it's been around a long time Mike. I still love it though, wish I had it in my home.
