A work in progress

This is a work in progress, and is in pastel. It is on Sennelier paper full sheet. I had to grid the photo taken of my patio chairs . I always draw freehand, and this was just a little mindblowing with all the patterns for that, hence the grid. I still got lost though, don't look too closely.
I am off to get the left hand side of the chair done now, phew!!Wish me luck.

A beautiful start, Rae, can't wait to see the finished work, which should be stunning! It looks like a very complicated piece, good idea to use a grid.

Thanks Sue, yes it it quite possibly is the most complicated thing I have ever done ..GRRR!!!
I need a lot of stops, tea breaks etc. However, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, that's a good thing.

Sweet. Like the luminous green chair contrasting with the dappled lights n darks of the shadows. What a challenge! Can't wait to see it in person...lovely design.
