Ketchikan

I sat in the lounge on the ship and sketched this one of the town of Ketchikan while waiting for the okay for the passengers to go onshore. It was a very quaint little town, lots of tourist stores of course, but some charming places to sketch for the artist.

I enjoyed this piece.
Now more than ever I want to go to Ketchikan some day to get a good view of the Northern Lights and charming scenes like you depict.

Thanks Margo, the township is simply charming up there, in fact there were many such places, full of marinas and quaint houses. Of course in the summertime, it is much more pleasant to be visiting these Alaskan villages, not winter though. brrrr
