This gal was partially out of my head I have to admit. I did see her sitting with a group, and memorized her to draw later. She was not quite as wild as I made her, but she certainly was a big girl. I loved the posture, that is what attracted me in the first place.Texas artist Rae Andrews, paintings in all media and genre. She is an Australian ex-pat who moved to Maui in the early 1990's where she owned two art galleries .. she now resides in Texas where she conducts workshops both in the USA, Australia and Europe.

Just too much fun for words. Love your style on these sketches. :)
Thanks Jo, I just hope these folk never get to see what I have done with them. But yes, they are fun to do.
Her "character" really comes out in this one Rae. I envy that you can draw from memory. Fun sketch it made me smile.
Thanks Donna, and I think if these poor people saw what I did with them, they might be a bit upset, still I do have fun making some of them up, and that's what makes the world go round.
The realism/trueness is not that big a deal for me in some of these sketches.
At least they start with an actual visual, but what I make from that, is anybody's guess.
I guess the mind is a wondrous storage vault huh? At least I can honestly say mine is.
