This is a small pastel of the beautiful Iao Valley on Maui where I lived for many years.I used to hike this valley a lot, and swim in the rapids upstream, it is a wonderful area of the island and if one gets upstream far enough, they can have some very peaceful and private times up there. I painted a lot from this area, taking my macaw up with me, she loved it..

It sure is Margo, I have spent many an hour here. Maui is a beautiful island, at least it was while I lived there, I believe it is very overpopulated now, even more that in 2001. Oh well, progress.

Thanks Regina, it does show how lush and green the island is in parts. I just loved the Iao Valley.
