Rae's acrchives from Italy

This was a small showing of each of the artists' works the night before we left to come back to the US. The lighting was poor in the villa, so we sat at the fireplace in all our splendor. again, thanks to Carol for this shot.
I have to admit I did not do much painting over there, not by my usual standards, I hope to work a lot with the photos I have from this wonderful trip. 2000 in all !!
This grouping is a mixture of pastels on paper and acrylics on canvas.

That looks like a lot of wonderful paintings to me. Your building structures look great. Hope you had a super time and welcome home!

Rae - I'd love to see those buildings up close - the shadows look wonderful! I imagine you'll be busy working from those photos for a long while to come.

Thanks guys for all your comments, and yes Regina, I have so many photos to sift through now, I am amazed at it all, Italy was beautiful.
I was not thrilled with any of my work done en plein air, but what artist is really happy with their own work?
