I decided to make more of this cute little dog in this one, rather than the elderly man he was with. I may do them again in full, but for now, I am happy with this different approach.
This old gentelman was in Italy when I was there last year, he was just watching the world go by in the piazza with his dear little dog.
This pastel was a small quick study, which I think (for me) are usually better, I don't labor so long with details.
