Curtain Call

Okay now the last post might make sense, at least I hope it will :)

This was the other pastel demo I did for the Senior Center at Round Rock. I did work on it back in my studio and finished it today.


As you might notice from prior florals I have posted, I LOVE the red with orange over it, the paintings just glow!


I did most of this at the demo, I had not done the lower one third of the painting to any great degree, and that is what I just finished today.


I hope you like it, and thanks again Baca Center folk for having me there, it was a great few hours even though I was still a little fuzzy headed from this cold of mine.. Grr!

I think this is my all time favorite floral painting! The combination of colors and the glow are fantastic. It would have been a crime not to finish this one. Glad you did.
