Design 9


Still going with these little designs, they are such fun and really make me think about composition. I hope you are enjoying them as much as I am.
I am emphasing that what I leave out of a painting is possibly more important than what I put in them.

In other words, my negative spaces are what I am most interested in.
Of course color, patterns and texture are a big part as well as shapes, but the linkeage of the white spaces  I feel, are the most important areas of these little designs.

This one is 4.5 x 7" (image size, and is matted and shrinkwrapped ready for framing.
