Santorini Entryway

Like Doors and windows of Provence, France, the entryways in the Greek Islands are similar with few exceptions.

The Greeks love the gorgeous blues of the sky and the sea using that color and variations of it, for all the trim on their houses.

 The  homes themsleves on the islands are mostly white or very close to that.

These colo combinations are of course an artist's paradise, and I have hundreds of photos of these types of doorways etc.

I will try to stagger my subjects so none of you get bored to death.

This one is done entirely in gouache on watercolor paper and is 4.5 x 6.5" (image) and is matted and shrinkwrapped ready for a frame.
