Following in the same vein as my last small pastel, I experimented with three photos (top image) to get my ideas for the painting on the bottom.
I call these DIVISIONAL LANDSCAPES.
I have worked with dividing my paintings in this way since long before my college years, I guess I have a SPLIT personality. :))
I find it challenging to incorporate design into an otherwise predictable landscape.
