One of the sketches I have been working on recently. This little girl was tippy toeing into the water on a beach in Australia.
I wanted to keep going with a not so focussed technique in pastel on the velour. It's a discipline for me, I tend to get detailed especially with figures and portraits.
I like this new way of overlapping the background info into the figure.. A fun one to play with.
This is 11.5 x 18.5" unfranmed pastel on velour.
