Fireglow

Recently here in Texas, we experienced the worst wildfire disaster in history. Many people lost everything.

This painting is born completely from the raw feelings and aftermath of this tragedy.
As an Australian, I am not new to wildfires, and have to say for something so terrifying in the moment, as a lowly artist I felt I had to record the beauty and awe of NATURE in all her glory.
This is a 24 x 48" oil, on gallery wrap canvas.

It will be on display in The Group of Four Show at the Round Rock Artspace during from November 30th through the month of December.
Please drop by and see this and other pieces of mine, I would love to see you there.

Thanks girls, I have to say that this painting is one of my own I actually love!
I had a very raw and special feeling while I painted it, and I think (I hope) that shows :)
