Magenta Light

Just finished a small workshop on Lake Buchanan here in Texas. It was such fun to have a smaller group. We painted, talked endlessly, partied and slept ..soundly I might add.
This was an oil or pastel workshop, and on the last day I did a very quick 20 minute demo in oil ( 8 x 10") of the above painting which by the way was made up completely.
The exercise  was basically to show students the way we can use a brightly colored tinted board to keep our plein air paintings alive and fresh, in this case the tint was a very bright magenta.

Thankyou Char for hosting this fun event, it was wonderful fun!
