Sapphire Light

Sapphire Light began as a demo in the last workshop I taught. I rarely keep painting on a demo, however this one kept me captivated, so on I plodded.

It is a 20 x 20" oil on gallery wrap canvas.

Wow! I am crazy for these directional, flowing, color gems!! A really good one, Rae!
Also love the strong chroma in the last several posts!

I was glancing through blogs on my reader and not seeing anything to catch my eye. Then, I said to myself, that is a great painting. Clicked on it and it was yours. Just gorgeous. Do you oil paint a lot?
