A hot mess with changes :))

This step by step shows another old demo which in my opinion was ready for the trash.

Top left shows it as a hot mess and top left to bottom right shows  my hopefully redeeming dark additions.

My reasoning..
I decided after my exploration of the previous koi fish painting on my IPad, that I could get a lot of the fussy and way too many fractured areas to settle back if I used a strong flat dark.

I mean what the heck, it was a mess anyway.

Opinions would be very welcome..
This is a watercolor on Arches #300 paper 22 x 30".
