Still Waters on the LLano River..Pastel..Texas Artist..Rae Andrews

This small pastel is a quick sketch which may be used for a larger more substantial painting later on. I am enjoying this process. Small paintings stop us from detail.

This is actually done on black sandpaper from the hardware store, a less expensive option for playing. As I am not sure how archival this substrate is, the actual painting is not for sale.
