This is the pathway which leads to the asylum Van Gogh was in.. it is just out of Saint Remy in Provence.One feels awed and at least in my case, quite overcome when visiting this place. Just to know that Van Gogh was here, that he saw the same gardens, walked the same paths, was truly overwhelming for me.
I chose to paint this in the Provence blues again, it somehow fitted the mood of the place.
