Texas artist Rae Andrews, paintings in all media and genre. She is an Australian ex-pat who moved to Maui in the early 1990's where she owned two art galleries .. she now resides in Texas where she conducts workshops both in the USA, Australia and Europe.
This is the photo I was sent as reference for the portrait challenge. She looks such a nice lady too, I hope she does not think too badly of my attempt to immortalize her. Tee hee.

Hi Rae!! I think you did a stellar job - and the photo I took of myself was definitely not me at my most glamorous, but like my painting (of you!) I left taking it until the very last second. Somehow your painting captures even more about how I was feeling that day than my photo even does! You must be tuned in to the universe. :)
