The Photo Study for my Portrait Challenge

This is the photo I was sent as reference for the portrait challenge. She looks such a nice lady too, I hope she does not think too badly of my attempt to immortalize her. Tee hee.

I can't believe it. It was Kate you were painting!!! (No wonder she looked familiar to us.) Karin did some late entry postings and yours is up now. Great job on her portrait.

What a wonderful job you did for the Different Strokes challenge! You really made her saucy! Keep up the good work in 2010

Hi Rae!!
I think you did a stellar job - and the photo I took of myself was definitely not me at my most glamorous, but like my painting (of you!) I left taking it until the very last second. Somehow your painting captures even more about how I was feeling that day than my photo even does! You must be tuned in to the universe. :)

If you'd like the painting I did of you, I'd love to give it to you.

:)

Hi Kate, what a hoot huh? I did not know it was you until both photos and names were posted on Karin's website. Yes I would love to swap my painting of you for the one you did of me. Let's talk.I will e/mail you.
