I needed to address the lefthand background, and decided at the last minute to place another statue in there.The floor was now addressed also, and the refections. As you will notice all those original strong colors in the floor are now subdues and more natural.

Very well done, Rae! I like this and past posts showing a connection between the figure and something in the painting! Reminds me of my hero, Mr. Rockwell.
Thanks everyone, this series is keeping me 'charge' and I am loving it. Some of the figures .more than others though. I have gotten so rusty with figuative paintings.
