My Baby

Okay I know this is'nt art, but to me she is a work of art.

This is my macaw Baby, whom some of you already know. I have had her for 19 years now since she was 4 months old.

When I was washing up the other morning Baby wanted to 'bob for dishes', and here is a a shot or two of the grand event which has become a morning ritual of great pleasure for her, not so much for me, but oh well.

Just wanted to share.

Hmmm, perhaps you should leave some apple bits in the sink for Miss Baby to bob for! It looks like she's not plucking quite so much, so she really looks gorgeous, a "natural" work of art!!!

Rae she is a real beauty! I bet she keeps you entertained every day. : ) My roommate in California was the editor of Bird Talk magazine, we had lots of bird visitors and residents.

These birds are so comical, and so smart, they can be like a very naughty two year old human child for the rest of our lives,(ARRRGGG!) and they will outlive us more than likely.
One has to be commited to these beautiful creatures that's for sure.
Thanks everyone for all your comments.
