Well I tweaked the center petals a little, took out that definite line by undulating the severity of it a little, just a small thing, but I think it helped.
This is an acrylic on gallery wrap canvas and is 15 x 30".
Texas artist Rae Andrews, paintings in all media and genre. She is an Australian ex-pat who moved to Maui in the early 1990's where she owned two art galleries .. she now resides in Texas where she conducts workshops both in the USA, Australia and Europe.

Just made it up! Thanks for sharing your process. It is a lovely flower painting! One of these days I'll see a demo. Looks like so much fun.
Thanks Jo, yes this style of painting is fun, a little scary for those who like a more mapped out design, but for me, I love the unknown factor. Yes, do come to a demo soon, would love to see you again.
