Fish Fry

Fish Fry is another demo I had started a while ago. It is a watercolor and some charcoal pencil line work. I love mixing these two mediums. The fish came after I had splashed colors on the paper, no pre drawing was done on this one, one of my favorite ways to paint watercolor.

The paper is a hot press watercolor paper, not my favorite on which to paint but it served a purpose and I do think we as artists should mix it up on occasions.

This is a 19 x 24" watercolor.
