Razzle Dazzle

As with past posts, this one began with no drawing or notion of what it would be. I just have fun with liquid acrylics and watercolor on the paper, and see what happens.

After that, the games begin, with trying to fit a subject into the marks.

I like ambiguity in my work, not a fully realistic interpretation of what it is meant to be, just a hint... this technique suits my personality.

This is an 8 x 8" liquid acrylic/watercolor on Arches paper

As with all the past 8 x 8" watercolors I have been posting, I am mounting them onto cradled clayboard, and leave the watercolor without glass to really show the glowing colors, a great way to modernize each piece.

The finished pieces are all sprayed with a UV Varnish and are very hardy!

All inquiries are very welcome.
