I just finished this one recently
After teaching at Le Vieux Couvent in France in southwest France, I am still filled with the lovely scenery we saw and experienced in that region of France.
On the grounds of this wonderful Artist’s Retreat, is a lovely fish pond, complete with koi and lily pads.
I have painted this pond a few times, and it never tires me to begin a new view of it.
I liked the idea of the elongated format, seemed to suit the very oriental subject matter.
I plan on painting another ‘friend’ to this painting very soon as well.
Monet eat your heart out. LOL.

Thanks so much Jo, it’s been a trying time to say the least, I wonder how long all of this will go on though.. it seems never ending and it’s very stressful. Hope you are both well though, hugs..
