Rae will demonstrate in pastel techniques and watercolor. However all mediums are welcome.

Rae will give personal at easel instruction if you choose a different medium to what she is demoing in.

This workshop is for ALL Artists of all levels. Rae will demonstrate in the mediums of  Pastel and Watercolor.

However all media is welcome and she will give ‘at easel’ instruction to those using a medium apart from those mentioned above.

We stay in a 17th century refurbished convent. Gardens, and vignettes to paint everywhere. Quiet, relaxing and just the most superb venue at which to paint.

We travel the Dordogne region in air conditioned vans, to our chosen painting sites, such as peaceful riverbanks, lakes, wineries, and much, much more.

There is a full studio at the convent for your leisure as well, which is open 24/7.  Not to mention a swimming pool  for the exercise minded. We are all royally looked after!

Painting Trip to France With Rae Andrews!

Bon Jour  everyone,

I'd like to invite you to join me on  this very special painting trip. 

I'm taking a group of artists to paint the beautiful south west of France in May 2017.

                                I've been so fortunate to be invited to fill one of the spaces for at Le Vieux                                        Couvent a 17th century convent and now a well known Artists Retreat. 

It is a fabulous place, renowned for its friendly hospitality ,beautiful gardens , bright airy studio                                           and of course the excellent food. 

I cannot rave enough about this venue, it is simply an artist haven!

Every corner of the gardens is a painting vignette.

The village atmosphere is quiet and charming, away from the 'maddening crowds'. 

We will get looked after royally, gourmet meals and tours to places for our painting, as well as access to a great studio at the convent.

                        Their groups of artists always have a wonderful experience, many

                 of them come again and again and have been very generous with comments.
