Lake Sam Rayburn Colors..Pastel..Texas Artist..Rae Andrews

Image was DUSTED on the sandy areas in the foreground of this image. 

 Just that hint of additional texture gives this area spark I think.

I have just returned from a fabulous few days at my buddy's lake house on Lake Sam Rayburn in southeast Texas.

Wow! The morning and afternoon walks with my puppies were delightful, and the scenery was superb, so expect more beachscapes from me in the future.

This one is a long elongated format, a favorite of mine on which to paint. 

It is done in pastels on Sennelier paper.
