Such an idyllic little village, full of reference for the artist.

Back Road..Pastel..Texas Artist..Rae Andrews

So many wonderful scenes to paint when we get onto the back roads. This one is slightly embellished, but has the feel for our Texas landscape.

I did this one on Pastel Premier Paper, which also takes wet media as an under base.
Great fun, and quick, wonderful for plein air painting.
